Nope, there is a detailed description in Mercruiser manual #6 for Alpha1 on pages 5A-2 & 5A3.
I am computer averse at copying pdf's so here it is in words.
In a nutshell.
For the up circuit:
Fill the reservoir, disconnect the up hose from whichever cylinder(s) are to be bled. That's the hose that enters the top of the trim cylinder. Now direct that hose into a container and run the up button til there is a solid stream of fluid. Reconnect hose end & top reservoir.
For the down/in circuit:
Disconnect the in (other) hose at the little manifold under the transom housing. Plug that/those holes. Run the cylinders up til fully extended. Remove the manifold plug(s) and briefly run the down circuit til there's no air just fluid. Reconnect the lines, lower the drive, refill with fluid. Run it up and down several times til it clears of air.
In other words it will clear small amounts, but for a removed cylinder you need a hydraulic bleed.
