Trim Fault Alarm; Trim works

Had my bellows professionally replaced along with the Trim Limit Switch & Trim Sender. First time I hit the trim switch I get a “Fault Trim” on my SmartCraft Screen. I can hear the trim pump and I can watch the SmartCraft digital and the analog trim gauge move in response to the trim switch. Every time I adjusted the trim, same thing.

I know it’s not my responsibility but the boat is in the water not near the mechanic, who said I could bring it back which I will if I pull it mid-season. Plus I like to understand how things work. What is the criteria for a Trim Fault?

Check the connections, the voltage might be dropping some due to a loose connection
If connections are clean and tight, try going back thru the calibration procedure
