Trim fluid addition quandary...

I'm sure you guys will laugh at this one, but here goes... I'm sure I have a very slow hydraulic leak in my trim/tilt. Up and down with the switch is just fine, but if I leave the motor up, it gradually travels down (approx 2"/hr). Here's the laughable part: I'd love to find a way to top off my fluid without pulling the boat. This is because I don't trailer; the marina puts it in during April and pulls it out in October. Has anyone found a way to get the *** end of the boat up enough to do this? Other important facts: I can stand behind the boat - average high tide is 4'. In fact, I lifted the right side of the transom with my shoulder just enough to install my fishfinder transducer... The boat itself is a 16' SeaRay BR w/ a 60HP Merc O/B. Chuckle, then reply if you think there's a way...
Thanks, Rich

ungodly,

friend had the same problem---he bought a large tire inner tube , placed it around the lower unit under his stingray fin and using a portable (12volt) air compressor filled the tube with air. this lifted it high enough during calm water to check and fill his trim unit. he had to tread water and almost dropped his fill screw for the t/t unit.GOOD LUCK

Thanks Rick1 !

That's what I was looking for... I knew there had to be a way.
Everyone look for my message tomorrow that says the inner tube went flat with the plug out... ;)
