OK, i screwed up, yes, i'm not familiar with the Force I drive OR the L drive .... but, a 1989 force, with 85hp, sounds to me to be an outboard, probably on a bayliner....thinking that to be the case, he's lucky to be making 40mph, NO way in hell is running 70mph....SO running that big powerful motor???? on a wan'ta be super offshore Hotboat at maybe 40mph, i see no reason for a trim gage...save your pennies,+ buy a REAL motor,+ boat...I Am SORRY,+ will try to read the posted questions more closely....
