Joe, Ther may be a way, but you will need to fabricate some kind of bracket to hold the sender. My Johnson has a plastic arm on the sender that gets pushed down when the motor is trimmed down. The gauge is nearly usless since it is not too acurate.
You should have a much better idea where the trim is at by the sound and feel of the motor and boat. You should feel the motor lose thrust when you are trimmed too high. The steering should change the way the boat handles etc. I never thought a gauge was really necessary.
