put in new sender,gauge,only works upper part,took off turned by hand,gauge moves slow to a point then drops,new sender same,hooked to fuel gauge works in middle gauge settings,adjusted every way can,teleflex engineering says right gauge installed,right sender from mercury twice,wired twice,still no gauge readings right,,,lido style,seems gauge only moves from full up to maybe 3/4 mark. any help?

anyone can take a stab at it unless ive coverd all try this there is.

well after more gauges,,,senders still not working right,,,why cant a simple gauge work right,,,,mercury parts,,,,this is unreal for one gauge to be so hard.

i ran a wire from batt neg to sender,same,reversd wires at sender,same,hooked to a fuel gauge to see what happens,,worked better than trim gauges i got but not right,,think ill just stick a gauge in hole and forget it,,,got gauges and,senders if anyone needs a spare outboard merc.
