i have a 1984 65hp johnson outboard and my powertrim has lost all power. it used to go up and down slowly after holding the switch up or down for a short period of time, then it started togo down only and now it doesnt work at all. i replaced the relays and i do here a clicking sound in the relays when jogging the switch up or down, where is the fuse located in the wire assembly any help would be appreciated

Re: trim help

Trace the wires from the electric PTT motor to its connector and disconnect it. Run jumper wires directly from the battery to those electric motor wires. If the motor operates as it should, then obviously it is okay. If it does not, I would assume that it is faulty and in need of repair or replacing.

Re: trim help

You hear the relays clicking? Would they click if a fuse was blown? I gave perfectly good advice as a starting point.
