My trim lines need replaced. They disappear into a dark hole in the transom bracket behind the engine. Anyone changed these out without pulling the engine? Boat is a 94 Four Winns Horizon 230 with the 5.8 FI and Cobra SX drive.
Nevermind......Found my answer. Remove drive, remove nut holding trim line manifold, separate manifold from transom bracket by pulling aft thus exposing the two trim line connections I need to get to. Found it in my OMC Cobra Drive and Transom Bracket manual.

Hi, I know you posted this a while back I’m having the same issue and all I find is pulling engine so it’s a relief to see this. Any other info you can share? Same year four wins but a 4.4 liter
