I have a 2001 Caravelle Interceptor with 350 MPI and Bravo One outdrive and the trim gauge is going all over the place. When it's full up it show up, when its full down it shows down however everything in between is all over the gauge. From full up when you trim it down just a little it drops all the way down. When down and you go up it shows somewhere in the middle.

A new drive sensor(s) is only $60 and apparently prone to failure (from what I've read online) so I'm thinking of ordering that and putting it on to see if it solves my problem. In the interest of not - just throw parts at problem - I thought I would check with you guys first. What do you think? Thanks for the help.

Ayuh,.... The sender is most likely the problem,....

You can Test it with a meter, from inside the boat,....

Changin' it is a Bear of a job,.... not so much the sender, as the wires,....
