Trim limit switch-trying to find one

So I finally got power tilt/trim for my 69 Merc 1250. I bought a complete unit including transom assembly for $280 including shipping from a cool dude in the Seattle area. The unit is from a newer inline six, unsure of the year. Anyway, it works fine except for the switch that limits the movement when triming out. I can trim out by using the out and up buttons together, but that defeats the purpose of having the safety margin the switch provides when just using the out button. I am trying to find a replacement switch, as this one is a total loss. Any help is appreciated, in the mean time I'll just have to be careful when trimming out.

On a side note, I had a whole mess of fun removing the powerhead, lower unit, then seperating the midsection from the old clamp and installing the new trim assembly.

Mine has been broken for years. What ever speed I'm going I just trim it out until the steering gets easy and let it go. Its never been a problem.

Ebay. A search the other day showed at least five of them. Most people on there are good about sending additional info or pictures to help sell their items. May want to browse through one of the sites with the online parts schematics to try to narrow down your search.

Good luck.

Thanks guys. I checked Ebay already. I forgot about Oldmercs.com, I'll check them. I will be fine in the mean time. I was more concerned for when the wife drives, I could see her getting herself in trouble. Guess its time for more training... :)
