Trim Motor Problems?

Ok this is the first year i have owned my 1990 Sea Ray 180 BR. The trim has always made a little more noise than the boats I am use to but being 20 years old I figured it could be normal. Today it was only working intermittently and sounded weak. Actually for a while it seemed to be not working at all yet I could hear a click in the back like contacts were closing or something. When we got close to the dock I gave it a try and it raised up, i think it was slow though, I couldnt see it and my passengers were little help. Any ideas?

Ayuh,... Sea Ray builds Boats,...
Not motors or trim pumps...

Haha yeah I only left out the most important things. Its a mercruiser 4.3 with an Alpha One outdrive
