trim motor wiring

Hi all ,I need to extend the + and - wires on my trim motor, which would be the best and safe way to do this? Need to extend 3 feet. Thank You

Adding an extension isnt difficult provided you have the right size cable. 3 feet won't provide any real resistance problems. Does the wire go directly to the battery, or to a fuse box? Safely, you can get 2 butt connectors, crimp them properly, then heat shrink them with the good yellow stuff.
