Hey guys New York has had alot of rain in the week. Now I went to check on my boat and noticed my drive was all the way up. I never leave it up because I dont need to. So I jumped on and hit the switch to go down and it did. Then when I went to trim it up I hear sizziling in the switch. The switch is in the shifter on top. (quicksilver) I pulled the wires and notice they had moisture. Jumped the + with the Blue which is up and it just sparks and sizzles. Did the pump short out? Its brand new and I dont want to spend money on a pump again. Is there a way to test the pump? let me know thanks.

Re: trim motor

Ayuh,.... Test it at the pump, rather than at the switch....
