trim problems

I have an 86 force 125 ob the power trim only works when I am on level ground and when I go in reverse the engine kicks up out of the water. It also won't trim up while driving. I've bled the heck out of it any Ideas?

The first problem -- is your manual override, if you have one, set properply? Second problem -- do you have a faulty relay?

I'm having the same problem. I've tried everything. I believe replacing the seals in the cylinders is the next step for me.

mine got water in it will go one way and not other but motor runs so think i need seals too
