Trim pump going down but not up

I have a 1997 sea ray with a 5.7 mercruiser in it. Went to take it out today a noticed my trim pump not working. Replaced the fuse and it went down. Went to bring it up and nothing. The fuse is still good and I swapped the up and down wires and it went up. So I'm thinking a solenoid now. Get the solenoid and still the same thing. Even when I reverse the wires the new solenoid is not working. I thought maybe it was a loose wire in my trim switch and all good there. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Check ground wires. ie, take them off, clean them and make sure they are tight and making good contact. When the UP fails, do you still get the click, or is it totally silent?

Limit switch or wiring on the outdrive? :noidea:

Does it go up with the trailer switch?
