I just picked up a 16' sidewinder with a 1980 175 evinrude sport on it.
The trim motor is seized, the motor is down, and I have no way of getting the motor of the boat at the moment. How can I lift the motor manualy ???

Perfect, thanks.
that's what I was looking for. I knew there had to be one somewhere but I didn't know wich one.

Now I got the motor up, took out the pin that holds the hydraulic cylinder to the motor, took out the four bolts that hold the trim/tilt unit to the mounting bracket and there's still something holding at the bottom but I can't see what it is???

I may be wrong, but I think you have 6 bolts holding it. 3 on each side.

last hole at the bottom, closest to the transom. There's something holding it there, it's not bolts but I can't see what it is...
I'll try to get a pic.

Edit: found my problem. While trying to get a pic the supper bright LED of my cell phones flash lit up the inside of the hole to see what was holding. A peble, wedged half way in the pump housing and halfway in the bracket.

4, but the two bottom(one on either side) were missing.
