I have a 1988 Wellcraft with a 3.0 Mercruiser, Alpha 1.
The boat was gotten as a project. When I got it, there was no Trim Pump and the wires were cut where the trim pump should have been.
I have a newer style Mercruiser Trim pump with the plastic resevoir and have "temporarily" wired it up to my tilt/trim switches. I used the crimp on style "spade" connectors to plug into the female connector that is on the trim pump.
This works, but I would rather have the male (boat end) connector and have it connect to look OEM. I have done many searches, and cannot find replacement pigtails for marine applications. I found 1 or 2 places that sell pigtails for the engine connections, but not for the trim pump.
This trim pump has a round 3 wire connection. I don't know if that is standard for most brands and years or if that connection varried by brand and year.
Thanks for the help
