when i press "trim down", my trim pump will pump hyrdraulic fluid at least to the glimbel housing connectors but the leg will not go down.

additionally, when i press "trim up", the trim pump clicks, as if power were getting to the unit, but it does not pump any fluid.

is it screwed? or, am i screwy?

Sounds like a bad UP silenoid for one thing.Try jumping the terminals with a screwdriver on the silenoid that's clicking. If it runs up then it's bad unless you have a loose wire on it.As far as not going down you need to loosen the UP line on one of your cyls. The drive should come down on it's own with the line loose. If it don't come down with the line loose or removed you have a problem in a trim cyl.If it does come down tighten the line back up and raise the drive.Crack open the UP line again slightly so the drive falls very slow.At the same time have someone hold the switch in the down position. When drive is all the way down tighten the UP line. While doing this never let the reservoir go dry.You may only want to go down half way and refill reservoir then continue.
