Trim question for the new 150 HP SeaPro Outboard, that I just purchased related to the tilt.
When tilted up all the way it hits the stainless Rod Holders and will scratch the cowling. I know some of the other brands (E-Tec's) have a setting to limit the travel, is there such a setting for this motor?

Yea. There is a method of doing this. You need to unplug a couple of connectors under the cowling hood or something similar. Then re connect when you are at the maximum desired height. Have a search online about it. It’s something like that, you need to do.
Just found a link with instructions. Just double check before you do it. But pretty sure it’s the same method.

These orange wires discussed in this link doesn't exist on the new 2021/2022 Mercury motors, still looking for a solution.

Thanks/Jerry
