trim relays

iv'e got a 1995 merc.225 xri every now and then the trim relays go bad .sometimes it wont go up the next time it wont go down.also notice batts. are draining too quick ,after sitting for two or three days it won't start. any ideas thanks (whups...i guess i should post this under outboards)

as for the trim motor, clean your leads, usual problem.
dying battery, somethings been left on, or batteries are old, load test.
