Hello guys!

I have spent more than an hour trying to locate the trim sender unit receiver for my 50 HP ELPTO 2001 Mercury. I bought this outboard three years ago, it didn?t come with this sender. Do all trim power units should come with a receiver?, this motor says tracker on the outside. I have been looking for the two holes for the ears of the sender plus the cut in between where the sender goes, but i cant find it. I have looked at the end of the cilinder, on the left side of the motor.
If anyone can help me.
Thanks

Bill, As you sure that motor has that option? You might look on the crowleymarine.com website and see if you can find it on the pictures of the transom bracket.

I am not sure Chris, but shouldn't all trimpowered motors have?

The older mercs never had a trim sender. If you cannot find one on your motor, perhaps it was never an option.

BTW - Trim Gauges are not too important. It is best to set trim by RPM, Speed, sound of the motor and feel of the boat's steering.
