I need to replace the trim sending units, what is the easiest way to do this. I have a 1986 Doral 140 hp merc crusier i/o. I was told I had to pull the drive off to feed in the wires. Is there an easier way. I do have a shop manual.
If you don't do it as per the instrutions taht are included in the sender kit, it won't last long as most of the probems are caused by the crappy wires not the senders
