I just got a new boat (to me) this past weekend. Had it down to two Models. 2000 Bryant Bowrider and 2000 Ebbtide Bowrider both are 21? feet same drive V/P 5.0Gi SX drive. Went with the Ebbtide, boats are about the same quality, Ebbtide had a little better layout and extras, plus the wife liked blue better than green.
Philster had it right on boat runs 55.2 @ 4800 rpms. GPS.
Anyways I am having a problem with the trim switch. It sometimes gets stuck when I am adjusting the trim. It is the switch lever itself (on the throttle) getting stuck in the trim up position. If I click it back down it will stop. While I can certainly operate it like that, I prefer not to. I was standing at the dock last night with the WD-40 in hand ready to spray some into the lever but then decided to ask here if this was the prudent thing to do.
Thanks
