I just bought some used bennett trim tab rocker switches. they do not have any wiring attached to them and I currently have the racing style switch. Is there anyplace I can get a wiring diagram for them? each switch has 6 terminals. thanks

Re: trim tab switch wiring

Gator, I wire them backwards myself, because I find it more intuitive to use them that way, but all you have to do is switch the positions of the yellow and blue wires. Here you go:

By the way, when I say wire them backwards here is what I mean. With the way I set them up if the switch is mounted on a vertical surface the switch strike matches the boat movement at the bow. So if I press the top of the left switch the left front of the boat goes up, if I press the bottom of the right switch the bow of the boat on the right side goes down. Pretty straight forward to my way of thinking, but just the opposite of the factory wireing.

Thom

thanks, took me a minute to get it. my switches do not have the brass bus bar conecting them together.
not a big problem I can see how they are are wired.
your way of wiring makes more sense, never thought of that. I would allways get confused wich way to push them before.
