Re: trim tabs for 1902
Very Easy to install, the hard part was drilling holes in my new boat, had a hard time thinking, do I really want to drill holes in my new boat. I've had them for a year now and they are they best. I wish I bought the indicator lights w/ the water-proof switches, but the cost was too much so I had my local canvas shop make a consol cover for me for $40.00, and that keeps everything (gauges, vhf, radio, gps, & fishfinder)dry when it rains or when I wash the boat. (I use the self service carwash because of the salt water) Their should be a conduit chase that goes from the back of the boat to the front under the deck w/ a rope in it, tie your wires to that and pull it thru to the front and hook your wire to the fuse box. Just remember to put the styrofoam plug back in the conduit so the fumes won't travel up the conduit.( the carbon dioxide alarm goes off if you don't plug the conduit) You really don't need the indicator lights, you'll know and feel the differance when you take off and plane off. The directions tell you to put the tabs at an angle off the back of the boat, don't, make them level w/ the bottom of the boat, at an angle made the bow dive into the water too much. I put the pump under the starboard side of the back storage compartment and made a bracket to attach it to. Well good luck and safe boating
