Yes, they will improve tope end (varies on the boat) and fuel efficiency will improve (varies per boat). The largest tabs you can get are the generally accepted procedure. Go to the bennett trim tab web site, they have lots of good info. The tabs help you get on plane faster (stern lift on boat). Once you get there put the tabs in a position that essentially makes them extensions of the the hull, which is where they add the most to efficiency.
