Trim Tilt 3 wire fuse

I have 10 gauge wire running to the MOM switch from the Batt, can/should I put a 30 Amp (or similar) in line fuse from the batt hot wire?

You can install a fuse, won't hurt a thing. But why?

Momentary on switch, because its batt-wire-switch-motor-ground wire
