Trim/Tilt 87 Johnson

1987 90 HP Johnson. Is there a specific proceedure for Draining & re-filling the Trim/tilt fluid with respect to the tilt arm position, check valves. ie. refill with tilt arm in down position...etc

Not really. Just trim motor all the way UP and fill to the top. Replace screw and cycle it 4 or 5 times to purge the air. Check and refill as nessesary.
