Trim tilt fluid type

I have a 2005 Larson with a 4.3 190HP Volvo Penta, the trim fluid is low, I read some where you can use automatic transmission fluid, is that correct? Thanks in advance

Yes, ATF is used in the trim and steering pump. Any Dexron will do.
