trim/tilt motor bleed

Have a 1989 150 hp, johnson, just replaced the trim motor and need to bleed the system.<br />How do I do it correctly to rid the system of air.<br />Can this be done on a bench vs doing it attached to the motor?<br />thanks sabtc12@aol.com
