Trim Trouble!

Hello everyone, I seem to be having some trouble with the trim system on my boat. I have a 2000 SeaRay 185 bowrider 4.3/Alpha I drive. The trim button on the throttle control works fine when trimming down but when I go to trim up it does nothing so I have to use the I trailer trim button to trim it up . At first I was thinking a solenoid could be the problem but since the trailer trim button works I ruled that out. It's possible my trim switch may be bad but does anybody have any other suggestions? it's time to order a trim limit switch and (if you have a gauge) a trim sender... unless they have been done recently get new bellows and some bellows adhesive too... not a terrible idea to do the gimbal bearing at the same time
