I raised my trim and started to lower it,but it didn't move then it dropped a bit. So i check to see if the fluid was down and it was so i top it up.Ran the trim to bottom and raised it.Now for some reason it will not move either way all i get is a click at the trim control. Not sure what to check now. Has anyone out there have any suggestion
Thank you DOT

If all you're getting is a click then it sounds as if your solenoid isn't working. I had a similar issues and replaced both while I was at it. An easy inexpensive fix and now all is good. Maybe check and clean up the connections first just to see if you're in the right neighbourhood. There is also a test you can do by bypassing the solenoids. A search should find it here on the forum.

Check your connections first, loose or corrosion will cause intermittent connection signal to pump

(1) I have cleaned all post and now have removed the two solinoids and was wondering is there a way to check them with a battery?(2) Also i have put positive on the pump on both sides, one at a time and ground the pump with both leads coming from off the battery, nothing happens . Dose this say it is the pump? As i said in the first post still only get a click on the down side an nothing on the up.

yup... if you directly jumped a line from your battery to both switches and the pump did not work,, that suggests your pump is bad...(or less likely your battery is bad) . I had the same problem few years ago, (bad pump) it actually failed on the water once, clicking, got it to work by hitting motor with a hammer :), yes they can stick... mine was on the way out,, it then completely failed while on a fishing trip to the 1000 islands, ended up getting raped at a local marina,, but hey,, dont these things usually go bad while on the water? :) new pump is expensive... ballpark $300-500
