Got me one of those fancy Italian throttle/shift controls to run my Johnson 90hp. Following the connection instructions, I hook up the tilt/trim button and test it out. Yep, press up and motor goes down. Press down and motor goes up. Double check the instructions and wire colors on the control. Yep, its wired just like the instructions say.
So I reverse the wires (white to johnson blue/white and green to johnson green). Now the up button makes the motor go up, and down makes the motor go down.
Lots of grammar mistakes in the instructions. The tilt/trim wire connections must have gotten messed up in the translation......
Well, at least I didn't have to switch the forward/reverse shift cable....
