Trim up problems on mercrusier alpha one

Can't figure it out.

My trailer button runs up and the down trim works, but the up trim does nothing, doesn't even click. I have cleaned the wires leading into the trim motor, replaced both solenoids, and tested the fuses. I am at a loss.

I figure the trailer and trim up run off of the same solenoid, and since the trailer works, the up solenoid is fine. Could it be a faulty trim switch on the throttle?

Any ideas would be GREATLY appreciated!

Trim limit sensor is bad or the wires are corroded or broken.
Or could be one of the wires in the shifter/controller. I dont remember the color code but one of them may be broken.

Depends on exactly what drive your talking about. It`s the 2 round looking discs on each side of the steering ring.Page 4A-1 this link

Thanks, BT. I think I am going to take it in to a mechanic. That's beyond my limited knowledge. I'd rather let an expert deal with that than mess something up further.
