Trip recommendation - south USA / midwest

I live in Texas and have boated most of the larger lakes in the state. The one I haven't boated is Amistad (on the border with Mexico) and we'll be doing that in May.

I'm looking for trip recommendations (overnight) - inland lakes and rivers, within 2 state range of Texas. I've got a 23' cuddy cabin boat - trailered, with about a 150 mile range....


I know it's a broad question - just looking for other enjoyable boating experiences..

Grand lake in Oklahoma is a nice lake if you want scenery......and I don't just mean the trees....
