A 15 inch prop with 15 inches of pitch, stainless is pretty middle of the road for power and speed. For more speed, 17 or 19 inches of pitch

Check with a local marina or call your engines maker and either should be able to get you in the neigborhood.

Use this or a similar prop selection aid to get you a starting point.

You can easily get thousands of dollars into props fine tuning a high performance hull. I know guys who have had a half dozen stainless props in 2 years looking for 3 more MPH.

Hey "Wedge", if it helps, we're running a 14 1/4 x 19", Apollo, 3 bladed, stainless prop on our SouthBay 25 triple tube. Actually a little over 27' tube length. Similar motor, Merc. Optimax 250 Pro XS. Motor rated for 6000 rpm's and we're close at 5900 + with a light load. Good luck.
