And biggest...!
I showed up on this forum a few years back after buying my first KeyWest and needing some guidance. There were lots of friendly folks here...especially an old friend who has since passed...Tashasdaddy..
Bob was a crusty old guy with a wealth of knowledge much like many other folks here. We were able to meet up a few times and I had him out on my last KeyWest, a 2300WA. He had told me back then about a 27' that they made, and since I had already owned and sold a 2020DC along with the 2300, he assumed the progression would be to one of the biggest models. Actually, it was their largest production model. You could special order a 293; but the 268 was the biggest they mass produced.
And old Bob was right...I just signed the papers the other day for this rig; a KeyWest 268 with a pair of Honda BF150's.
Sweet rig with only 290 hrs. It was built in 2006 but not sold and delivered until 2008.
Owned by a snowbird who only used it during the winters in Cape Coral Fla.
This will be my first boat with Hondas. I have owned Yammys since '86..
I wish Bob were still around for another trip out....
Here are some of the pictures I have...
