I was curious if anyone has installed a Trolling motor on a 215xi deck boat. I got a deal on a 54" shaft 80lb thrust trolling motor and was just curious if that was going to be long enough... I know the bow is lower than most ski boats but higher than a bass boat, I think they offer motors options from 50"-60" when you have one built but I got mine off the lot and no motor installed. just wondering if I should return what I have before I have it installed and exchange for a more appropriate sized one.
