trolling motor mod

Just wondering, how much trouble will it be to turn the head 180 on my 54lb trolling motor sternmount motorguide , or is it even possible, I just did that on a searsgamefisher but it was so easy,,just one screw. someone please try it and let me know.:D

It was only 1 bolt on my transom motorguide.

ya ,you made it sound easy enough,..I got it,simple enough,just gona make the motor cables longer so batt,can go in the very back.the boat levels out better, also with another extension handle I adapted to the original. and I sit further back,fast boat.I like to hear the water slam onto the bow on a fullspeedstart,and watch the backwash kick up at the back of the boat.it"s wierd seeing backwash with no motor out the stern,it can be can be very mesmorizing.

I got it dude,see if you approve,I had to make a rudder,back end was all over the place,its through the handle on transom,port side:)you should see me with my new 38lb thrust along with my 54,fast,I mount the 38 on the transom,and away we go,P.S I know this is an old thread,but its still my post:pHappy New Year!
