Trolling motor mount transducer

How high above the trolling motor prop should I mount the transducer? Thanks!

It doesn't go above the motor - it mounts below the motor. I take it you think the transducer mounts on the shaft of the motor when in fact it does not. You need a trolling motor transducer bracket that straps the transducer around the motor housing so it sits below the motor like this!

You don't mount them over the prop. They are mounted in front of the prop, based on skeg design and trolling motor.
