Trolling motor mounted to outboard?

Has anyone tried this? The only one I found on the net is here:

But there is no way I'm going to pay that much for it. And besides, read the reviews for it. It sounds like it sucks.

Are there other brands which make a similar product? I like the idea.

there are a couple of brands that have them. i have no experience with them, or every seen one in service. i think buy the time you pay for it, and the necessary batteries, and added weight. you could find a good used kicker, that would preform better.

I was thinking a kicker too... Only thing is, then I need to buy the mount, and fabricate a plate and rod to connect the two motors..

Not sure which one is worth my time/money more than the other...

Why not use a bow mount troller? Much better control.
