Trolling motor mounting and installing

I purchased a used Minn Kota Riptide RT/AT 55 with the remote control & no foot peddle. I have no experience with trolling motors and am new to boating. How do i mount a trollong motor bracket to a bowrider on the bow? And how do I wire the trolling motor? Any help (and pictures) would be much appreciated. Thankls!

What kind of boat do you have?

For the mounting a lot depends on the available space at the bow, railings, etc... .

The wiring depends on where you want your battery. I put my battery right up in the bow and wire directly to the battery, with a 50 amp breaker on the + side which is a pretty simple setup. No plugs or anything.

Thanks for your respones. We have a 1994 Four Winns Horizon 180 with an OMC I/O. If I can put a battery up front that would be fine. I just don't know how to mount the bracket. I have a lower rail in the front.
