trolling motor mouting help

recently my trolling motor was stoen off my oat and i got a new one to replace it with. but it was ripped off the boat and there is holes where it was mounted what can i do to mount my other one. can it go on the other side or wil they just fit on one side.

Bummer. They actually ripped the bolts right through the transom? <br /><br />I'm not sure what material your transom is made of or how big the troller is, but I would think you could use some type of plate on the front and back side. Maybe weld them if it's aluminum, then re-drill. Otherwise you may have to offset it or use another location and fill the old holes.
