purchased foot control motorguide 54lb thrust to replace motorguide hand control 54lb thrust(hand controlled 48" shaft came with new boat purchase in 8/05-tahoe q4sf). new gator bracket with footy doesn't put as much bow(curve) in 50" shaft as original motorguide mounting. there's some difference but not extreme. there is a problem slight problem mounting new gator bracket, that's why i'd like to use original. any thoughts, i'm also going to call bass pro and motorguide in am--thanks for taking a look
