Trolling motor steering

is there anyway to steer the trolling motor by attaching it to your outboard?

Yup, they actually make a piece, I'll see if I can look one up for you.

All it is is a piece of threaded rod with a hans joint on either end.

I made one with a piece of all thread for about $9 for my brothers old boat.

Here's a commercial one available right here on Iboats.

Looknig back at your post I had assumed you meant a kicker, like a 9.9 trolling motor.

You could rig a system like this to a electric trolling motor but you'd have to do to engineering.

Also minn kota makes electric trollers that mount right to your anti-vent plate and would allow you to steer by turning the big motor, let me see if I can find a link for that.
