Trolling motor suggestions?

Hi,

I have a 18'6" Vision Fiberglass bass boat. My trusty trolling motor finally bit the dust and I now am tasked with replacing it. I hadn't realized just how expensive these boogers were until recently. I am looking for a 24v, foot control motor. I tried a wireless motor and simply wasn't impressed, so an old style motor with cables is fine. Does anyone have any suggestions as far as a model? I'm looking for about a 70# thrust. I looked a little at the Minn Kota edge, but I'm not sure about it.

Any recommendations??

buy the biggest thrust your budget will allow, no such thing as to much.

Minnkota ap 54' shaft I think the new ones are V2 models. The auto pilot models are nice. They steer while you fish.
