Quick question, Does anyone know if you can swap out the lower end of a trolling motor. Let say you have a 40lb thurst and you want to put a put a 60lbs thrust motor on it. can this be done.

Thanks Mav

im not sure why you would want to do this. sounds more expensive and time consuming then just swapping units and selling the old one.

You realize that the 40# motor is 12 volts and the 60# is probably 24 volts?

Try Craigslist but this is not the correct place to advertise.

Back on topic just sell your working motor and repurchase a used one.
