I have a 15 foot bowrider and a brand new 45lbs trolling motor.... I want to mount it on my bowrider. I have a outboard now and no room back there toclamp on, the bow there is no room at all, and want to use exisiting motor not change.
So problem is , how do I get a motor mount, inexpensive but not homemade looking?
Something that can screw to the back of the boat to far side from the outboard... I know pulling is better for battery power etc but I will push from back... I would like to have it so it can raise.... out of water when not used... main reason is for shallows more than trolling, to get out of rivers and keep outboard out of the sand , which i have recently experienced and had to change whole water pump and flush.
So anyone have pics? options? links? I have looked around, havent seen anything simple , decent looking and inexpensive yet... which I had experience in Aluminum work.. might be ideal....
