I have a Minnkota Trolling Motor with a Transom Mount. I would like to use it on
the front of my Fiberglas boat. Is there a conversion kit that anyone knows of that
will allow me to mount this in a bow mount fashion. Or does anyone have
another solution?

Thanks!

Re: Trolling Motor

I rigged up my own on my old Larson. Made a bracket out of wood that worked just fine. May not have been the prettiest, but it worked.

deppong
If you mount the transom mount on the bow you will need to turn the "head" 180 deg. Not a big deal, you can do it, unless you plan to troll transom first.
Backfire

Re: Trolling Motor

I did the samething, mounted my transom mount at the front of my boat built a wooden bracket and turned the head 180 degrees. Also had to lengthen the shaft which was 52" to 80" this was quite a formidable undertaking but fun and saved myself a few hundred dollars. Minkota 36lb thrust.
Terry.
