Well its time to take the plunge!
I have a trophy 18.5 CC I need to redo the transom.
I looked online a couple of videos and I saw only the transoms coverage is the whole backside. mine as per the photo only has a section.
I indicated with arrows. I saw the process being relatively simple: grind the line you pre establish then remove the fiberglass(to reinstall) slowly pry off the rotten wood, clean very well, epoxy new wood, epoxy the old fiberglass, gelcote area after repairs.
has anyone work on a boat similar situation.
also most importantly im how long should that take in hours? give or take
